Xavier Sneed: A QA

Rivals 150 small forward Xavier Sneed is planning a visit to Creighton on Oct. 2. The 6-foot-5 small forward, ranked No. 102 in the latest 2016 Rivals 150, is a native of Florissant, Mo. We caught up with him recently for a quick question-and-answer session.
Heath Gunderson: Xavier, you recently released your list of top five schools, and it included Creighton, Illinois, Kansas State, Wichita State, and Xavier. Have you taken an unofficial visit to all of these schools?

Xavier Sneed: Yes, I've taken visits to each school except Wichita State.
Heath: What separates these five schools? What in particular are you looking for?
Sneed: Academics is my No. 1 priority. I like private schools, but when it comes to basketball, I really like these schools' style of play.
Heath: Do you anticipate taking all of your visits?
Sneed: Yes, I plan on taking all of my visits.
Heath: How did your summer go, and do you feel you improved your stock?
Sneed: It was a successful summer. I think I raised my stock, but my stock has been pretty high for a while now.
Heath: What is it about Creighton that put it in your top five?
Sneed: It helps that they're a private school and they have a good student-to-teacher ratio. With playing basketball, we will be on the road a lot so it'll be important to know my teachers. They've also got a really good squad. I love the way they play. Their run-and-gun style would fit me.
Heath: Could you see yourself ending up playing at Creighton?
Sneed: At this point, anything is possible.
Heath: When do you plan on making a decision?
Sneed: I want to make a decision around the first signing period in November after I take all of my visits.
