Top-150 point guard plans visit to CU

The AAU season has been good to 2015 point guard Ty Hudson. He has picked up some offers from some bigger schools like Creighton, VCU and Oklahoma State, in addition to the offers he's already collected from Clemson, Houston, Kansas State, Xavier, Tennessee, Virginia Tech and others.
Hudson told BluejayBanter.com that VCU, Clemson, Houston, Oklahoma State and Creighton have been recruiting him the hardest. Creighton assistant coach Steve Lutz has been in contact with Hudson since the beginning of the summer, Hudson said, and we know that Creighton is really targeting a point guard for the 2015 class because of the departure of seniors Devin Brooks and Austin Chatman.

Hudson, from Mableton, Ga., is still learning about all these schools that are interested in him.
"I know Creighton is in Omaha, has a great academic reputation and likes to play a run-and-gun style," he said. "I know Creighton doesn't have a football team, which is a good thing because they are a basketball school and have tremendous fan support for their basketball program."
Hudson is No. 120 in the 2015 Rivals150 and sits at 6-foot-1, 200 pounds. He has garnered a lot of interest from many different types of schools.
"I'm looking for a school that has a stable coaching staff," Hudson said, " as well as a school that has a great academic atmosphere and a place where I can get early minutes."
Hudson still has some summer business to finish up at the Nike Peach Jam this weekend. He then plans on sitting down and figuring out which schools he's going to visit.
"I've got to figure out my plans yet, but Creighton will most definitely be one of my five visits."
Good news for the Jays.
