One on One with Doug McDermott
Doug McDermott had an amazing start to his Bluejay career where he scored in double-figures in each of his first 8 ballgames. He set a record for being named the MVC Newcomer of the Week for four straight weeks.
We all knew a letdown was coming and it happened on Saturday night against St. Joe's as the Hawks held the young freshman scoreless. When you've played basketball at a high level for as long as McDermott has, it's been quite a while since he put up a goose egg.

After practice on Sunday, we had a chance to talk to Doug about the game against the Hawks and what the team will look like when Gregory Echenique starts playing this weekend.
