Location: Omaha, NE

Records: Georgetown 14-12, 5-8 Creighton 21-5, 8-5

Creighton faces Georgetown on Sunday, coming off a tough road loss to Seton Hall, needing a win to keep pace for the second place spot in the conference. The Hoyas on the other hand are in second to last place in the Big East as the slog their way through another disappointing season under John Thompson III.

Despite being wildly inconsistent, Georgetown possess enough talent to rise up and beat quality teams as Creighton learned earlier this season. At the same time, they've also lost to Arkansas State this year and are ninth place in the conference for a reason.

What you need to know: Georgetown will look to Rodney Pryor to carry their offense and Creighton will look to Khyri Thomas to slow him down. Creighton's defensive stopper showed cracks in his armor for the first time this season against Seton Hall as Kadeen Carrington went off for 41 points.

Thomas was saddled with foul troubl most of the game, which hasn't been an issue all season, and Carrington was the beneficiary of 22 free throw attempts.

Personally, as long as the referees return to calling the game the way they have all season, I have no concerns about Thomas' ability to lock up Pryor. However, if the refs call things like they did against Seton Hall, all bets are off.

What you don't need to know: Georgetown is famous for many of its notable alumni, specifically in the areas of politics and basketball. What you might not know (and definitely don't need to know) is that famous actor Bradley Cooper (The Hangover, Limitless, Silver Linings Playbook) is also a Georgetown alumnus. He graduated in 1997.
